Internship Bengaluru
Marketing Intern
Write, test and grow: put Perfstaq, Perfstaq Flow and the marketplace in front of the people who need them, and show the numbers.
Our customers care how AI assistants describe their brand, so our own marketing has to be good at exactly that. You write, publish, measure and repeat, with the founder editing your work. Taste matters, and so do the numbers.
What you'll own in your first weeks
- Write and publish posts, threads, landing copy and emails for Perfstaq and Perfstaq Flow, and track how each one performs.
- Run small growth experiments, such as a launch, a community post or a newsletter swap, each with a clear metric, and report the result honestly, including what didn't work.
- Check what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini say about Perfstaq and the startups on this marketplace, and draft content that closes the gaps.
- Help marketplace startups tell their story well by sharpening listings and founder spotlights.
What you must already be able to do
All of these. This is the bar, not a wish list.
- You write sharply: short sentences, specific claims, no filler. Send us writing you're proud of.
- You have grown something, such as an audience, a community or a product's signups, and can show the numbers: where it started, where it got to, and what you did.
- You understand AI search and GEO (generative engine optimisation): how it differs from classic SEO, and what makes an assistant cite a source.
- You read basic analytics, see what worked, and change course when the numbers say so.
You'll stand out if
- You have built an audience on X, LinkedIn, YouTube or a newsletter around a technical topic.
- You have written for developers or founders and they responded.
- You can make simple graphics or short videos to go with your writing.
Don't apply if
- Your plan is to post on a schedule and hope. We care about results we can measure.
- You can't show numbers for anything you've grown.
- You'd rather not have your writing edited. Every piece gets edited.
How we hire
- 01Apply with proof of work. Links to things you built or grew tell us more than a CV, so there is no CV upload.
- 02We read every application. If your work clears the bar for the role, we email you.
- 03A practical exercise. A practical exercise relevant to the role, close to the work you would actually do.
- 04A conversation with the founder. About what you've built, how you think, and the work ahead.
